Common use of A half Clause in Contracts

A half. Time Pilot remains in all other aspects a Full-Time Pilot until their leave credits (excluding sick leave credits) have been used up. At that time, they will be considered as having retired, unless the Pilots’ Committee and the Authority agree to allow the Pilot to return to full-time status, and they may do so before the Half-time Pilot has exhausted all of their leave credits.
