Common use of Ability to Earn Livelihood Clause in Contracts

Ability to Earn Livelihood. Consultant represents that his experience and capabilities are such that the provisions of this Article 7 will not prevent him from earning his livelihood, and acknowledges that it would cause the Corporation serious and irreparable injury and cost if Consultant were to use his ability and knowledge in competition with the Corporation or to otherwise breach the obligations contained in Article 7.
