Absences Expected to Last Longer Than Four Weeks of Class. When a member is absent from work, and the District receives medical or other authoritative documentation that the member is not expected to return to work for a period lasting longer than four weeks of class, a long-term substitute may be assigned for all remaining days of the semester that the member continues to be absent.
