Abuse Defined Clause Samples

The "Abuse Defined" clause establishes a clear definition of what constitutes abuse within the context of the agreement. It typically outlines specific behaviors or actions—such as physical, verbal, or emotional harm, harassment, or misuse of resources—that are considered abusive. By providing concrete criteria or examples, this clause helps all parties understand the boundaries of acceptable conduct. Its core function is to prevent ambiguity regarding unacceptable behavior, thereby protecting parties from harm and providing a basis for enforcement or remedial action if abuse occurs.
