Academic Schedule. It is the responsibility of the faculty member to teach his/her courses at the times and in the places promised in the academic schedule or, if circumstances make that impossible, to follow established procedure for changing the time or place of a course offering. The schedule for each faculty member is prepared by the department chairman and approved by the ▇▇▇▇ and chief academic officer. It is the right of the faculty member to be involved in the process of preparing the schedule. Special scheduling needs will be accommodated, when it is possible to do so; however, a faculty member must realize that it is the assumption of the University that he/she will be available to teach and/or perform other duties during the regular work day.
Academic Schedule. 1. Except for those days when classes are not in session, the faculty member is expected to be available for work from the first day of fall semester classes until the date that semester grades are due and from the first day of spring semester classes until commencement. However, under extenuating circumstances, as judged by the ▇▇▇▇ or Vice President for Academic Affairs or the President, in consultation with the Department Chairperson, the faculty member may also be required to be available for a period of not more than one (1) week prior to the beginning of a semester or two (2) weeks after commencement. Such periods will be used only for matters which are essential to the academic program and cannot be handled reasonably during the academic semester. Any planned use of such time will be scheduled as close to the beginning or end of the semester as is reasonably possible. 2. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the College may assign faculty members in the Pharmacy School and Chiropractic Department to twelve-month schedules. Academic Schedule. Academic qualifications acceptable to the Royal Australian Chemical Institute for admission to the grade of Corporate membership. • Academic qualifications acceptable to The Australian Institute of Physics for admission to the grades of Graduate membership or Corporate membership. • Academic qualifications in metallurgy, metallurgical engineering or technology acceptable to either The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy for admission to the grade of Junior or Corporate membership, or the Institute of Metallurgists (London) for admission to the grades of Graduate, Licentiate or Corporate membership. • Academic qualifications acceptable to The Australian Institute of Agricultural Science for admission to the grade of Corporate membership. • Academic qualifications acceptable to The Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology for admission to the grades of Graduate or Corporate membership. • Degree in science of an Australian, New Zealand or United Kingdom university or from an Australian tertiary educational institution. • Experienced scientists must possess academic qualifications acceptable to one of the following: (a) The Royal Australian Chemical Institute for admission to the grade of Associate member. (b) The Australian Institute of Physics for admission to the grade of Member. (c) The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy for admission to the grade of Associate member. (d) The Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology for admission to the grade of Associate Member.

  • PROGRESS SCHEDULE The Contractor, within ten (10) working days of receiving notice of the award of the contract, shall prepare and submit for the State's and Architect's information an estimated progress schedule for the Work. The progress schedule shall be related to the entire Project to the extent required by the Contract Documents, and shall provide for expeditious and practicable execution of the Work.

  • Development Schedule The Project shall substantially comply with the specific timetables and triggers for action set forth in Article 5 of this Agreement. The parties acknowledge that, as provided in G.S. 160A-400.25(b), the failure to meet a commencement or completion date shall not, in and of itself, constitute a material breach of this Agreement pursuant to G.S. 160A-400.27 but must be judged based upon the totality of the circumstances.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Detailed Description of Services / Statement of Work Describe fully the services that Contractor will provide, or add and attach Exhibit B to this Agreement.
