Common use of ACCEPTANCE FOR PAYMENT Clause in Contracts

ACCEPTANCE FOR PAYMENT. 20.1 Upon substantial completion of all work under this contract, the work shall be given a punch-list walk through by County. When all of the work including punch-list items is found to be satisfactorily completed in accordance with the contract, and the entire work is accepted by County, final payment shall be made to Contractor. 20.2 For purposes of this clause, final acceptance refers only to final acceptance which shall allow Contractor to be paid and does not release Contractor of warranty requirements.
