Acceptance of Payment Clause Samples

The Acceptance of Payment clause defines the conditions under which a party's payment is considered received and accepted by the other party. Typically, this clause outlines acceptable payment methods, the timing of when payment is deemed effective (such as upon receipt, clearance, or deposit), and may specify any requirements for written acknowledgment. Its core function is to provide clarity and prevent disputes regarding when and how payments are officially recognized, ensuring both parties have a mutual understanding of payment obligations and fulfillment.
