Common use of Acceptance or Rejection of Project Clause in Contracts

Acceptance or Rejection of Project. Subgrantee’s failure to meet any of the Project Completion Criteria or failure to meet any material obligation under this agreement shall be cause for rejection of the Project by the Office. A Project shall be considered accepted unless, within the ten (10) business days of the final inspection, the Office notifies Subgrantee in writing (a) that the Project is rejected, (b) specifies the items that, if modified or added, will cause the Project to be accepted, and (c) a timeline for resubmission of the notice of completion under section V.C. Subgrantee shall promptly remedy any defect which prevents the work performed on the Project from satisfying the Project Completion Criteria or meeting any material obligation under this Agreement.
