Common use of Access and Audit Clause in Contracts

Access and Audit. At the request of the OAG, GRANTEE shall grant access to and make available all paper and electronic records, books, documents, accounting procedures, practices, and any other items relevant to the performance of this Grant Contract, compliance with applicable state or federal laws and regulations, and the operation and management of GRANTEE to the OAG or its designees for the purposes of inspecting, auditing, or copying such items. GRANTEE will direct any other entity, person, or contractor receiving funds directly under this Grant Contract or through a subcontract under this Grant Contract to likewise permit access to, inspection of, and reproduction of all books, records, and other relevant information of the entity, person, or contractor(s) that pertain to this Grant Contract.
