Accomplished. To allow for adequate data accumulation, bargaining unit members shall be “comparable” to each other until the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year. The evaluation ratings specified on this section refer to the final summative ratings assigned to a teacher. If the employee does not possess a final summative rating for the year in which the reduction in force will occur the employee’s last rating will be utilized for the purposes of considering whether employees are “comparable”. In the event that a teacher new to the district does not have any prior rating, the teacher shall be assigned a rating based upon the most recent evidence available. For the purposes of reduction in force, all non-OTES personnel within the same licensure/certification area shall be considered to possess “comparable evaluations.”
