Common use of ACCOUNTING AND AUDIT Clause in Contracts

ACCOUNTING AND AUDIT. ‌ (a) The Contractor shall maintain at its business office in Tanzania full and proper accounting records relating to Petroleum Operations under this Agreement in accordance with the Accounting Procedure set out in Annex “D” of this Agreement. (b) TPDC shall have the right to audit Contractor’s accounting records in accordance with Annex “D”, the Accounting Procedure. (c) Nothing in this Article shall be construed as limiting the right of the Government pursuant to any statutory power to audit or cause to be audited the books of accounts of the Contractor.
