Accrual of Earned Time. Full‐time employees accrue earned time based on regularly scheduled hours worked or in pay status up to those hours budgeted for their position (other non‐status hours worked and supplemental compensation such as overtime or law enforcement special details are excluded) and on the number of full years of continuous service to the Auburn Police Department, as follows.
Accrual of Earned Time. (a) An eligible nurse will accrue earned time hours on a weekly basis, as long as she or he remains regularly scheduled to work at least twenty (20) hours per week, in accordance with the following schedule: Regularly-Scheduled Hours Per Week Less Than 5 Years * At Least 5 Years* At Least 20 Years * 40 5.08 Hrs. 5.85 Hrs. 6.62 Hrs. The use of years of continuous Hospital employment rather than years in a benefits eligible status shall be effective with the payroll period starting July 29, 2007 and will not affect amounts of accruals earned prior to that date. Eligible nurses whose regularly scheduled hours are reduced, but remain at least twenty (20) hours per week, will thereafter accrue earned time hours at the applicable part-time rate. Eligible nurses whose regularly scheduled hours are reduced below twenty (20) hours per week will cease to accrue earned time but may use hours accrued, up to the amount of her or his regularly scheduled hours per week, in accordance with Section 9.6. Earned time accrued may not exceed 560 hours for a full-time nurse or the pro-rata equivalent for eligible part-time nurses.

  • Accrual of Annual Leave (a) An employee shall accrue an amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 4 week period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/13 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee for the employer during that 4 week period. (b) Annual leave shall accrue on a pro-rata basis and be credited to the employee monthly.

  • Accrual of Leave An employee’s entitlement to paid annual leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work, and accumulates from year to year.

  • Accrual of Sick Leave a. A full-time employee shall accrue four (4) hours of sick leave for each biweekly pay period, or the number of hours that are directly proportionate to the number of days worked during less than a full-pay period, without limitation as to the total number of hours that may be accrued. b. A part-time employee shall accrue sick leave at a rate directly proportionate to the percent of time employed. c. An employee appointed under Other Personal Services (OPS) shall not accrue sick leave.

  • Accrual of Seniority Seniority shall accrue during: (a) the first one hundred and nineteen (119) calendar days of sick leave including time on E.I. sick benefit or Income Replacement Benefits under the Automobile Insurance Act; (b) unpaid leaves of absence up to and including one hundred and sixty-eight (168) work hours in a calendar year; (c) hours absent while receiving benefits from the Worker’s Compensation Board; (d) temporary positions, out-of-scope of any union, with the Employer not to exceed twelve (12) months unless extended by mutual agreement with the union; (e) bereavement leave, pressing necessity leave, family leave, medical care leave; (f) jury duty and court service; (g) vacation leave; (h) leave for elected Public Office; (i) union leave; (j) all maternity/paternity/adoption/parental leave; (k) education leave up to twenty-four (24) months. (l) Long-term disability or Income Replacement Benefits under the Automobile Insurance Act. (m) If an Employee’s hours of work are reduced due to a disability, full-time Employees shall maintain their pre- disability accrual rate. Other than full-time Employees shall accrue seniority as follows: (i) For those who have worked one (1) year or more: Paid Hours in Previous 52 Weeks = Seniority Hours Per 52 Week of Leave (ii) For other than full-time Employees who have worked for less than one (1) year:

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 111. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above designated or observed holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional ▇▇▇'s pay at time-and-one-half the usual rate (i.e. 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked) or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked. At the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime pursuant to the provisions herein. 112. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of one-and-one- half times for work on the holiday.
