Accrual of Seniority. The seniority of an employee will be retained and will continue to accrue during: (a) Any period of sick leave with or without pay and whether or not the employee is in receipt of long term disability payments for a maximum period of two (2) years; (b) Any period of work-related disability leave with or without pay to a maximum period of one (1) year; (c) Maternity and/or parental leave; (d) The first month of any leave of absence without pay.
