Acting Supervisor. An employee who is temporarily designated as acting supervisor in the absence of the Supervisor shall: A. Remain an employee in the bargaining unit during the period of such assignment for seniority purposes; B. Receive no change in pay during the first ten (10) continuous work days in such acting supervisor assignment; and C. Receive an adjustment in pay commensurate with the additional duties, as determined by the Superintendent and/or his/her designee for each hour worked in the acting supervisor assignment retroactive to the first hour worked if the employee works in such acting supervisor assignment for over ten (10) continuous work days.
