Common use of Activities and Events Clause in Contracts

Activities and Events. 1. It is agreed that each teacher will work at least two (2) activities each year outside the normal class day without additional pay. Teachers will not be expected (although they may volunteer) to work these activities in a school other than the one in which they normally have their teaching assignment. 2. For events worked beyond two (2) per year teachers will be paid at the supervisory rate.
