Actual use recording systems Sample Clauses

The 'Actual use recording systems' clause establishes requirements for tracking and documenting the real-world usage of a product, service, or resource. Typically, this clause mandates the implementation of systems or processes—such as electronic logs, software tools, or manual records—that accurately capture when, how, and by whom the subject is used. For example, in a software licensing agreement, it may require the licensee to maintain records of user access and activity. The core function of this clause is to ensure transparency and accountability, enabling parties to verify compliance with usage terms and to resolve disputes regarding permitted or excess use.
Actual use recording systems. 4.3.1 An actual use recording system may be employed to record the maximum number of separate Devices or Unique User Ids which actually accessed the London Stock Exchange Data during a month. Billing is based on this actual use figure rather than on a count taken on the first working day of the month. 4.3.2 The implementation of an actual use recording system must have prior approval from a representative of the London Stock Exchange Group’s Market Data Audit Team. Please note that approval of an actual use recording system does not constitute acceptance of the reported numbers.
