Common use of Additional Assignments Clause in Contracts

Additional Assignments. Any assignments in addition to the normal teaching schedule during the regular school year, including: driver education, extra duties enumerated in Appendix B, and summer school courses, shall not be obligatory but shall be with the consent of the bargaining unit employee. No employee in the summer school program shall be required to work a split shift or to teach less than two (2) hours per day. The pay for members of programs referred to above shall be outlined in Appendix B.
