Common use of Additional Compassionate Leave Clause in Contracts

Additional Compassionate Leave. 56.2.1 At the discretion of the Employer, and upon request of an Employee, additional paid Compassionate Leave of up to 5 days may be granted where an Employee has significant responsibility for arrangements associated with the reasons for the leave (e.g. funeral). 56.2.2 As well as Additional Compassionate Leave, it may be possible for an Employee to access Special Leave, access accrued annual leave, take leave in advance or unpaid leave to help them through this period.
