ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION 1. ACTING ASSIGNMENT PAY‌‌‌ 174. a. An employee assigned in writing by the Appointing Officer (or designee) to perform the normal day-to-day duties and responsibilities of a higher classification of an authorized position for which funds are temporarily unavailable shall be entitled to acting assignment pay on the tenth (10th) consecutive work day of such an assignment. Acting assignment pay shall be retroactive to the first (1st) day of the assignment.
