Common use of Additional Confidential Information Clause in Contracts

Additional Confidential Information. In addition to protection of the Products, ITI's software and any documentation for either, as provided in Section 7.1, both parties agree to hold in trust and confidence, to take all reasonable steps to avoid publication or disclosure of, and to treat the other party's Confidential Information in the same manner as it treats its own. For purposes hereof, "Confidential Information" shall mean all information and/or material obtained from, or disclosed by the other party which relates to past, present, or future research and development or business activities, and which is clearly labeled or identified at the time of disclosure as "Confidential Information".
