Additional Day Off. Any eligible full-time Employee who is scheduled for a day off on an observed holiday shall be entitled to receive a day off with pay either on the day preceding the holiday or on another day following the holiday in the same period, or as scheduled by the Employee and her/his supervisor, whichever allows a day off in addition to the Employee's regularly scheduled days off. Eligible part-time Employees shall receive benefits granted in this section on a pro-rata basis.
Additional Day Off.
a) When a Designated Holiday falls on a full-time Employee’s scheduled day off, the Employee shall have an additional day off with pay within four (4) weeks before or after the Designated Holiday occurs. Such time off will be taken at a mutually agreed time.
b) When a designated Holiday occurs during a full-time Employee’s vacation leave, he/she shall be granted an additional day off as part of his/her vacation period.
c) A full-time Employee who works on their Designated Holiday shall have the right to reschedule their day off, by mutual agreement in the following four (4) week period.
Additional Day Off. If a holiday falls on an employee's regular day off, an additional day off with pay will be arranged between the Chief of Police or his/her designee and the employee.
Additional Day Off. Each employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay to be taken on a work day between Christmas and New Year’s Day as mutually agreed to between the Board and CUPE. In the event the federal and/or provincial government recognizes an additional statutory holiday during the life of this agreement, such additional holiday will replace this Additional Day Off.
Additional Day Off. Upon request to COT a female dancer shall be excused for not less than one (1) full day during their menstrual period, which day shall be other than and in addition to the female dancer’s Free Day.
(a) Minimum Compensation - Choristers may be engaged on a weekly or per performance basis and shall be compensated at no less than the following:
(b) Any non-resident chorister shall be paid per diem for each day of their engagement.
(c) Weekly Engagement - Choristers engaged on a weekly basis shall be engaged for a number of weeks not less than the number of performances.
(d) Per Performance Engagement - Choristers engaged on a per performance basis shall be paid the hourly rate for each hour, or fraction thereof, the Chorister is scheduled to attend rehearsal.
(e) A Chorister may be scheduled for no more than 30 hours per week with no more than six hours to be scheduled on any one day. Any hours worked over 30 shall be compensated at the overtime rate in one quarter (1/4) hour increments.
Additional Day Off a) When a designated holiday falls on an employee's regularly assigned day of rest and he does not work on such a day of rest, he shall be granted an additional day off. Such day off shall be arranged by mutual agreement.
b) When a designated holiday occurs during an employee's vacation leave, he shall be granted an additional day off as part of his vacation period, unless it is mutually agreed otherwise.
Additional Day Off. It is agreed between the parties that employees working under this agreement will be entitled to an additional paid day off (family recreation day) the nominated day will be agreed with employees and company and be on an annual basis during the life of the agreement.
Additional Day Off a) When a designated holiday falls on an employee's regularly assigned day of rest and they do not work on such a day of rest, they shall be granted an additional day off as follows:
i) within six (6) weeks for 8 hour scheduled employees, such day shall be arranged by mutual agreement;
ii) within nine (9) weeks for 12 hour scheduled employees, such day off shall be arranged by mutual agreement.
b) When a designated holiday falls on an employee’s regularly assigned day of rest in any position that requires a backfill and they do not work on such a day of rest, the employee shall have the option to choose an additional day off or be paid one and one-half (1 ½) times for this designated holiday within that averaging period. The employee shall identify their preference for each designated holiday twice per fiscal year as determined by the employer. If the employee prefers an additional day off, they shall be granted an additional day off as outlined 16.04 a) above.
c) In accordance with Article 16.04 a) Designated Holidays will be scheduled with vacation period requests as outlined in Article 17.07.
d) When a Designated Holiday falls on a regular workday the employee shall be paid premium pay plus their regular rate of pay and will not receive an additional day off.
Additional Day Off. When a Designated Holiday falls on a full time Employee’s scheduled day off, the Employee shall have an additional day off with pay within four weeks before or after the Designated Holiday occurs. Such time off will be taken at a mutually agreed time. When a Designated Holiday occurs during a time Employee’s Vacation leave, shall be granted an additional day off as part of vacation period.
Additional Day Off. It is agreed by the parties that the Additional Day Off shall be observed as follows :
(a) Employees eligible to attend the Additional Day Off shall observe the Additional Day Off on the 1st Monday in December.
(b) It is agreed that the parties will ensure that all critical pieces of equipment will be scheduled to operate at least one shift on the observed Additional Day Off and commit to ensuring two shifts where practicable.
(c) All employees not observing the Additional Day Off in (a) above shall observe the Additional Day Off on the first day of the annual shutdown or on any other day where there is agreement between the parties.
(d) Those employees wishing to observe the Additional Day Off in accordance with (a) above shall advise the Company by no later than the 1st Monday in October each year that it is their intention to observe the Additional Day Off. This shall give enough time for production and distribution activities to be planned for that day.
(e) A roster will be posted one week prior to the actual Additional Day Off to confirm all labour arrangements that will be put in place for the Additional Day Off.
(f) Where insufficient numbers of employees can be rostered on the observed Additional Day Off to ensure customer deliveries, discussions between the parties shall commence to resolve any matters of issue.
