Additional Design Services and/or Additional Preconstruction Services. Design Builder shall separately account and invoice for Additional Design Services and Additional Preconstruction Services authorized under this Contract. For Additional Design Services or Additional Preconstruction Services authorized to be performed on an hourly basis, Design Builder shall include actual amounts incurred during the billing month and shall submit detailed backup to support and substantiate the amount being billed, including copies of employee-signed and supervisor-approved time sheets. For Additional Design Services or Additional Preconstruction Services for which a fixed fee has been established, Design Builder shall bill as for the Fixed Fee For Design Services as described in Article VIII (c)(1)(i) and/or the Fixed Fee For Preconstruction Services as described in Article VIII (b)(1). In no event will amounts be paid that are in excess of any maximum or fixed fee established for the Additional Design Services or Additional Preconstruction Services or that are based on hourly rates that are not in accordance with the hourly rate schedule established in Article VIII(e).

Related to Additional Design Services and/or Additional Preconstruction Services

  • Preconstruction Services During the Design & Preconstruction Phase, the Design-Builder shall provide such design and preconstruction services as are necessary to properly advance the Project. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, during the Preconstruction Phase, the Design-Builder shall: (i) work with its Architect and any design consultants to advance the design for the Project in consultation with Client Agency, the Department and its Program Manager; (ii) obtain bids from trade subcontractors to perform the work described in the Design Development Documents and provide bid tabulations to the Department; (iii) engage in any Value Engineering and scoping exercises necessary to return the cost of the work to the Project Budget; (iv) engage in preconstruction activities, including identifying any long-lead items; (v) develop a GMP proposal for the Project; and (vi) enter into a GMP for the Project. Throughout the Design & Preconstruction Phase, the Design-Builder shall schedule and attend regular meetings with the Department, the Program Manager and the Architect. A list of preconstruction deliverables is set forth in Exhibit C.

Registry Operator may offer Additional Services only with the written approval of ICANN, and, upon any such approval, such Additional Services shall be deemed Registry Services under this Agreement. In its reasonable discretion, ICANN may require an amendment to this Agreement reflecting the provision of any Additional Service which is approved pursuant to the RSEP, which amendment shall be in a form reasonably acceptable to the parties.
