Additional Services Compensation Sample Clauses
The Additional Services Compensation clause defines how and when a party will be paid for services that go beyond the original scope of an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the process for identifying extra work, obtaining approval, and determining the rates or fees for such services. For example, if a contractor is asked to perform tasks not included in the initial contract, this clause ensures they are fairly compensated for the additional effort. Its core function is to provide a clear mechanism for handling and compensating unforeseen or supplemental work, thereby preventing disputes over payment for extra services.
