Common use of Additional Targets Clause in Contracts

Additional Targets. At any time during the Research Term, the parties may wish to expand the scope of the Research Program to cover targets in addition to the Targets. The parties shall determine in good faith negotiations whether they can agree on the terms of a separate agreement which shall cover the discovery, development and commercialization of compounds acting on those additional targets; provided, however, neither party shall be obligated to enter into such negotiations or to reach agreement if negotiations are conducted.
