Additional Terms for Education Use and Non-Profit Research Use Clause Samples

The "Additional Terms for Education Use and Non-Profit Research Use" clause sets out specific conditions and permissions that apply when the agreement's subject matter is used for educational or non-profit research purposes. Typically, this clause may relax certain restrictions, such as allowing broader access, reduced fees, or more flexible usage rights for schools, universities, or non-profit research organizations. Its core function is to facilitate the use of resources or services in academic and non-profit research settings, ensuring that these entities can benefit from the agreement without facing the same commercial limitations or costs as for-profit users.
