Additional Tests and Inspections. 6.8.1 If the A/E or the Contracting Authority determines that any portion of the Work requires special inspection, testing, or approval not otherwise required under the Contract Documents, the A/E shall order such inspection, testing, or approval. 6.8.1.1 If the special inspection, testing, or approval reveals Defective Work, the Contractor shall pay all associated costs and will not be entitled to any related adjustment of the Contract Times.
