Common use of Additional Tests Clause in Contracts

Additional Tests. The testing service will make additional tests of in place concrete when test results indicate specified concrete strengths and other characteristics have not been attained in the structure as directed by the Engineer. Contractor shall pay for such tests conducted, and any other additional testing as may be required, when concrete placed does not conform to the specified limits of the Contract Documents or when unacceptable concrete is verified.
