Additional Voluntary Salary Sacrifice into Superannuation. (a) The Employer will allow Employees to make additional contributions to their superannuation fund by way of genuine salary sacrifice from their pre-tax earnings. (b) Where an Employee wishes to have their pay salary sacrificed for additional superannuation, the Employer will comply with the Employee’s request without unreasonable delay. (c) Employees electing to make salary sacrifice payments to their superannuation fund will sign the Salary Sacrifice Agreement, contained at Appendix E – of this Agreement, when making arrangements with the Employer for salary sacrifice. (d) This clause will not impinge on any Employer provided benefits. (e) Any future wage, salary increase, accrual or entitlements including the Superannuation Guarantee will be based on gross rates of pay. (f) All entitlements and benefits contained in this Agreement will be calculated on the pre- salary sacrifice pay rate. (g) To avoid doubt, any salary sacrifice arrangement will not result in an increase to an Employee’s overall entitlements above what they would have received prior to that arrangement. Insurances‌ 33.1 The Employer will pay $25.00 per week per Employee to ReddiFund for the provision of: (a) Personal Accident and Sickness Insurance; (b) Workers’ Compensation Top-Up Pay; and

(b) All entitlements and benefits contained in this Agreement will be calculated on the pre-salary sacrifice pay rate.

  • SALARY SACRIFICE ARRANGEMENTS 34.1 Employees covered by this Agreement will have access to salary sacrifice arrangements in addition to the compulsory arrangement detailed above. The requirements of any such arrangements shall ensure that: (a) Accessing a salary sacrifice arrangement is a voluntary decision to be made by the individual Employee. (b) An Employee wishing to enter into a salary sacrifice arrangement will be required to notify their Employer in writing of the intention to do so and have sought expert advice in relation to entering into such an arrangement. (c) The Employer shall meet the cost of implementing the administrative and payroll arrangements necessary for the introduction of salary sacrifice to the Employees under the Agreement. (d) The co-contribution of superannuation payments referred to herein shall be made by way of salary sacrifice arrangements.

  • Superannuation 23.1 Superannuation contributions must be paid in accordance with this clause and the Superannuation Guarantee Administration Act 1992 (Cth), which will satisfy the Employer’s obligation regarding making superannuation contributions under the NES. 23.2 Subject to applicable legislation regarding choice of fund and/or stapled funds, the Employer will make superannuation payments on behalf of each Employee into CBUS as the default fund. 23.3 The level of contributions paid on behalf of each Employee (other than an Apprentice) will be, at a minimum, $280 per week. 23.4 Pro-rata payment does not apply, except in the case of flexible working arrangements entered into pursuant to clause 14.2.. 23.5 The level of contributions paid on behalf of each Apprentice must be, at a minimum: 1st Year - 55% 2nd Year – 70% 3rd Year – 85% 4th Year – 100% Minimum contribution $154.00 $196.00 $238.00 $280.00 23.6 The above contributions may be counted by the Employer as an offset against any payments otherwise required to be made by the Employer to avoid the Employer being required to pay the superannuation guarantee charge under superannuation legislation with respect to an Employee. However, the above contribution rates do not limit the Employer’s liability under the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992 (Cth). 23.7 All superannuation contributions will be paid at least monthly subject to the relevant governing trust deed, rules and/or legislation.
