Common use of Additional Work Clause in Contracts

Additional Work. If changes in the work seem merited by the Provider or the District, and informal consultations with the other party indicate that a change is warranted, it shall be processed by the District in the following manner: a. A letter outlining the changes shall be forwarded to the District by the Provider with a statement of estimated changes in fee and/or time schedule. b. A written amendment to this Agreement shall be prepared by the District and executed by all of the parties before any performance of such services or the District shall not be required to pay for the increased cost incurred for the changes in the scope of work. Any such amendment to the Agreement shall not render ineffective or invalidate unaffected portions of this Agreement.
