Adjournments Clause Samples

The Adjournments clause allows for the temporary suspension or postponement of a meeting, hearing, or other formal proceeding to a later time or date. In practice, this clause outlines the conditions under which an adjournment can be requested, who has the authority to grant it, and how notice of the new date or time must be provided to all relevant parties. Its core function is to provide flexibility in scheduling, ensuring that proceedings can be paused and resumed as needed to accommodate unforeseen circumstances or to allow additional preparation time.
