Administration and Operation of the Laboratory. The Contractor shall manage, operate, protect, maintain and enhance the Laboratory’s ability to function as a DOE multi-program laboratory, provide the infrastructure and support activities, support the accomplishment of the Laboratory’s missions, and assure the accountability to the DOE under the results-oriented, performance-based provisions of this contract. The Contractor shall implement a broad scope continual self-assessment process to assess the overall performance in, and drive continuous improvement of, Laboratory operations and administration.
Administration and Operation of the Laboratory. The Contractor is responsible for the operation, including management and maintenance, of the Laboratory including the planning in consultation with DOE and the making of recommendations to DOE for new buildings, facilities and utilities and alteration of existing buildings, facilities, and utilities on the Laboratory site and elsewhere, including the furnishing of all necessary basic design and operating criteria. When requested by DOE, the Contractor shall provide for the design, engineering, construction, and alteration, by subcontract or otherwise, of such buildings, facilities, and utilities on the Laboratory site and elsewhere as authorized or approved, in writing, from time to time by DOE. Before proceeding with other than design aspects of any project which the Contractor, acting in good faith, considers may reasonably be within the coverage of the ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Act (40 U.S.C. 314 et seq.), the Contractor shall obtain a written determination by the Contracting Officer as to the applicability of the ▇▇▇▇▇- ▇▇▇▇▇ Act to such project. When it is determined that the ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Act does cover a particular work project, the Contractor shall procure by subcontract the covered work in accordance with DOE approved procedures.

  • Monitoring and Oversight Grantee may be monitored by DFPS/HHSC during the period of performance. Grantee must comply with all monitoring requirements and information requests. Grantee will monitor any subgrantees according to PEI/FSS guidance and requirements to ensure that subgrantees adhere to all requirements as they relate to this Agreement.

  • Communications and Operations Management a. Network Penetration Testing - DST shall, on approximately an annual basis, contract with an independent third party to conduct a network penetration test on its network having access to or holding or containing Fund Data. DST shall have a process to review and evaluate high risk findings resulting from this testing.
