Affected Work Unit Sample Clauses

The "Affected Work Unit" clause defines which specific portion or segment of work is impacted by a particular event, issue, or change under the contract. In practice, this clause identifies the exact area, task, or deliverable that is subject to delay, modification, or dispute, rather than applying broadly to the entire project. For example, if a delay occurs due to unforeseen site conditions, only the work unit directly impacted by those conditions would be considered the "Affected Work Unit." This targeted approach ensures that only relevant portions of the contract are adjusted, promoting fairness and preventing unnecessary disruption to unaffected work.
