Affirmative Action Pool Sample Clauses

The Affirmative Action Pool clause establishes a designated group or pool of candidates who are considered for employment or advancement opportunities as part of an organization's commitment to affirmative action. Typically, this clause outlines how the pool is formed, such as by including qualified individuals from underrepresented groups, and may specify procedures for reviewing or selecting candidates from this pool for open positions. Its core practical function is to promote diversity and equal opportunity in hiring or promotion processes by ensuring that qualified candidates from targeted groups are actively considered, thereby addressing potential disparities and fostering a more inclusive workplace.
