Affirmative Action. 18.1 Each Bidder agrees that it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, age, or marital status. 18.2 The successful Bidder will be required to comply with the provisions of the County’s Affirmative Action Policy. 18.3 The Equal Opportunity Officer will determine compliance or non-compliance with the County’s Affirmative Action Policy upon a complete and substantial review of successful Bidder’s equal opportunity policies, procedures and practices. 18.4 The County provides equal opportunity for all Bidders and encourages minority businesses, women's businesses and locally owned business enterprises to participate in our bidding process.
