Common use of Agent of Chargor Clause in Contracts

Agent of Chargor. (a) Subject to clauses 10.2(b) and 10.4, every Receiver is the agent of the Chargor. The Chargor alone is responsible for his acts and defaults. (b) Any Receiver will be the agent of the Chargor in its capacity as trustee of the Trust only; and (i) notwithstanding anything else in this deed or at law, the Chargor in its personal capacity is not responsible for any negligent act or negligent omission of the Receiver.
