Allocation and Use of Settlement Funds Clause Samples

The "Allocation and Use of Settlement Funds" clause defines how any funds received from a settlement are to be distributed and utilized among the parties involved. Typically, this clause outlines the order of payments, such as covering legal fees, reimbursing costs, and then distributing the remaining funds to the parties according to agreed percentages or priorities. By clearly specifying the process for handling settlement proceeds, this clause helps prevent disputes over money distribution and ensures transparency and fairness in the aftermath of a settlement.
