The Alternative Shift Schedule clause establishes the terms under which work shifts may be arranged differently from the standard or default schedule. It typically outlines the conditions for implementing non-traditional hours, such as evening, weekend, or rotating shifts, and may specify how employees are notified or compensated for these changes. ALTERNATIVE SHIFT SCHEDULE. ‌ Should the Chief of Police decide to implement an alternative shift schedule to include, but not limited to, a four-ten or five-nine schedule, those options will be discussed with the Association. The decision to implement any alternative shift schedule is at the sole discretion of the Chief of Police.
ALTERNATIVE SHIFT SCHEDULE. Based on team recommendation and with employer approval, an alternative shift schedule within work teams may be used. An alternative shift schedule may involve a shift assignment to a non-preferred shift.

  • Shift Schedule The words "shift schedule" when used in this Agreement shall mean a timetable of the shifts and off days assigned to a position or group of positions which commences at the beginning of a pay period and includes one complete rotation of said shifts.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Employees may request alternative work schedules such as a nine (9) day - 80 hour two week schedule or a four (4) day - 40 hour week schedule. Management will respond to an employee's request within 15 calendar days. Any changes from existing work schedules will be based on the needs of the service as determined by Management. Employees covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act will not be placed on alternate work schedules that mandate the payment of overtime under the Act.

  • Budget Schedule Subrecipient agrees that the expenditures of any and all funds under this Contract will be in accordance with the Budget Schedule, a copy of which is attached hereto as Attachment C, and which by this reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.

  • Alternate Work Schedule An alternate work schedule is any work schedule where an employee is regularly scheduled to work five (5) days per week, but the employee’s regularly scheduled two (2) days off are NOT Saturday and Sunday.
