Alternative Work Assignments Provision. Temporary: When an employee’s regular 9 assignment requires work/services at a District work site and the employee cannot work at a 10 District work site on a temporary basis due to conditions under paragraphs 1, 2 or 3 above, the 11 District will attempt to accommodate these circumstance by assigning the employee to 12 available work that can be provided remotely from home on the condition that the employee is 13 qualified, prepared and willing to provide such services. When choosing from among multiple 14 employees for the same available assignment, the District will prioritize employees in the 15 following order: 16 a. Employees who hold the appropriate training, relevant experience or other 17 qualifications for the position. 18 b. Employees with COVID-19/suspected COVID-19. 19 c. Employees quarantined due to possible exposure to COVID-19. 20 d. Employees caring for someone with COVID-19/suspected COVID-19. 22 If two (2) or more employees qualify for a temporary assignment under the priorities above, the 23 District will award the assignment on the basis of seniority.

When choosing from among multiple 14 employees for 37 the same available assignment, the District will prioritize employees in the 15 following order:
16 38 a. Employees who hold the appropriate training, relevant experience licensing, endorsement or other 17 39 qualifications for the position.;
18 40 b. Employees with COVID-19/suspected COVID-19.;
19 41 c. Employees quarantined due to possible exposure to COVID-19.; and
20 42 d. Employees caring for someone with COVID-19/suspected COVID-19. 22 43 44 If two (2) or more employees qualify for a temporary assignment under the priorities above, the 23 45 District will award the assignment based on the basis of seniority.. 46
