Amendment of the Plan. We and the Trustee may agree to amend the Plan as long as: (a) we obtain approval from the Canada Revenue Agency or any government authority administering the Applicable Tax Legislation; and (b) the amendment does not disqualify the Plan as an RESP within the meaning of the Act or the amendment is being made to satisfy a requirement of the Applicable Tax Legislation. We and the Trustee may agree to make an amendment effective as of a date prior to the date when the amendment is made. We will give you thirty days written notice of any amendment and its effective date.
