Amount and Payment of Principal and Interest Sample Clauses

The 'Amount and Payment of Principal and Interest' clause defines the total sum borrowed or owed (the principal) and outlines the schedule and method for repaying both the principal and the interest accrued. Typically, this clause specifies the exact amounts due, the frequency of payments (such as monthly or quarterly), and the applicable interest rate, as well as any procedures for making payments. Its core practical function is to ensure both parties have a clear understanding of the financial obligations and payment expectations, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over payment terms.
