An Elected Official Sample Clauses

The 'An Elected Official' clause defines who qualifies as an elected official within the context of the agreement or policy. Typically, this clause clarifies whether the term includes only those currently holding office, those who have been elected but not yet sworn in, or even former officials. For example, it may specify that only individuals actively serving in a governmental role are covered by certain provisions. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and avoid ambiguity regarding the rights, responsibilities, or restrictions that apply specifically to elected officials under the agreement.
