Common use of Anacor Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Anacor Responsibility. Prior to GSK's exercise of an Option with respect to a Collaboration Compound and subject to Section 2.6.3, Anacor shall have primary responsibility for conducting the pre-clinical and clinical development activities for each Collaboration Compound in each Project (including clinical trials and submissions to Regulatory Authorities) in accordance with this Agreement, the Research Plans and as directed by the JRC (and JPT with respect to Project 1). GSK shall have the opportunity to provide advice to Anacor (which shall be considered in good faith by Anacor) regarding the development of Collaboration Compounds through GSK's participation in the JRC (and JPT with respect to Project 1), and shall have such other development responsibilities as are set forth in this Agreement or are mutually agreed by the Parties in writing.
