Anchorperson Exception Clause Samples

The Anchorperson Exception clause defines a specific circumstance in which the usual rules or restrictions regarding the assignment or selection of an anchorperson do not apply. In practice, this clause might allow a broadcaster or production company to bypass standard contractual limitations if a particular anchorperson is unavailable, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to fulfill their duties. Its core function is to provide flexibility in staffing key on-air roles, ensuring that programming can continue smoothly even when unforeseen issues arise with the designated anchorperson.
