AND WORK ALLOCATION. Seniority is defined as the length of continuous service in the bargaining unit and shall be used in determining priority and/or preference for layoffs, permanent reduction of the work force and recall. Any member of Local who is accepted for a position in another CAW Canada, Union organized division of the Company will carry their seniority. The moving member will not be allowed to displace anyone presently working in the division, but when a job opening is available the moving employee will stay at the bottom of the seniority list until the following sign-up, providing the employment with the Company has been continuous. When two (2) or more employees commence work on the same day, they shall be shown on the seniority list by date and time of interview with the Manager. For a period of sixty (60) days, employees transferred or promoted to a position not subject to this Agreement will retain, but not accumulate, their seniority. After the sixty (60) days, the employee will no longer retain seniority within the bargainingunit. Unemployment Insurance Record of Employment to be issued to all workers in accordance with Government Regulations (i.e. Easter Break, Christmas and summer). Records of employment and pay checks to include actual hours worked.
