ANNUAL INCREMENT. If an employee’s start date is before December 31st, the employee will receive an increment at the beginning of each school year (in September). If the employee's start date is between January 1st and the end of the school year, the employee will receive an increment a year from the following September. Once on the schedule, the employee will receive an increment each fall. An employee must meet all training requirements before a step increase will occur. If an employee takes a leave of absence in excess of one year they will not receive the step increase for that year.
