Applicability of Future Revenue Mechanisms. During the term of this Agreement, if the City imposes an alternative revenue mechanism specifically related to cannabis operations (e.g. a cannabis tax), developer agrees to pay to City the greater of the payment required under such alternative revenue mechanism or the payment required by this Section. As used in this Section, "alternative revenue mechanisms" do not include taxes, fees, licenses, or assessments levied on or collected from both cannabis and non-cannabis operations. Payments required by revenue mechanisms that are not limited to cannabis operations shall be in addition to, and not in lieu of, payments under this Section.
