All Applicable Warranties will be limited to three (3) years from the Effective Date if the water heater is installed in a system in which the water is re-circulated, but not if it is an on-demand re-circulation system which utilizes existing hot and cold water lines, or a dedicated return line without the use of a temperature sensor, timer, or a continuously operating pump. All Applicable Warranty Periods will be limited to one (1) year from the Effective Date if the water heater is installed anywhere other than a single-family dwelling.

Any part of component replaced by the Contractor under the Contract warranty shall be replaced at no cost to the Authorized User and guaranteed for the greater of: a) the warranty period under paragraph (d) above; or b) if a separate warranty for that part or component is generally offered by the manufacturer, the standard commercial warranty period offered by the manufacturer for the individual part or component.
