Application and Examination Leave. An employee shall be permitted reasonable time off with pay during his/her shift to submit an application and/or take a scheduled examination for RTC promotional or transfer opportunity. In no case shall an employee become eligible for overtime as a result of competing for a promotional or transfer opportunity. An employee shall notify his/her supervisor immediately upon receiving a letter from RTC Human Resources of the date and time that he/she is scheduled to attend an interview or examination.
