APPLIES TO. FULL TIME NURSES ONLY) (a) The date for determining vacation entitlement in each year shall be January 1st. The nurse must take her vacation entitlement during the period of January 1st to December 31st. When a nurse is absent from work due to being on pregnancy/parental leave, she may carry forward any unused vacation into the next calendar year. (b) A nurse who has been hired before September 1st and with less than one year of service may carry her vacation entitlement forward one year only and take her full vacation entitlement in the next year.
