Appointment and Authorisation. 2.1 The BBC hereby appoints and authorises the Contractor to exercise and perform on its behalf (save to any extent prohibited by law or BBC Policies) all acts relating to the administration, enforcement and collection of the Licence Fee and administration of the Over 75 Licence to the extent necessary for the performance of the Services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. 2.2 The BBC or an authorised agent of the BBC may, at any time, take such steps as it deems are necessary in order to ensure that the BBC’s powers as the Licensing Authority are discharged and that the administration, enforcement and collection of the Licence Fee is conducted in accordance with all applicable legislation, including the Human Rights ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇.
